Mrs Valencia was out of the class for a while due to her eye surgery, a big thank you to Mrs Hunt who came in and taught Room 11 for a week!
We learnt all about shapes, numbers, did some awesome Art and also some descriptive writing about the Te Aroha weather!
Here is a piece of writing from Joe:
Yesterday the weather was the mother of all storms.
A heavy tree hit lots of houses and they were busted. No one got hit. The sound of the wind was whistling and our door jammed and we couldn't get out. We were all hungry.
Many of us in Room 11 like the Cylinder shape! We used toilet paper rolls to create different characters. Check them out below! :)
Here are some photos of Room 11 learning some Rippa Rugby skills with Bill from Sport Waikato!
Room 11 love performing plays. We are learning about characters, setting, plots and props to make a good play.
