Assembly Item!

On Friday, Room 11 performed at our school assembly.

We have been learning both Te Reo Maori and a little bit of sign language in class.

What a really great performance, all children should be very proud!

Week 4

Another fantastic week in Room 11. Here are a few snapshots of what we got up to!

 Learning how to have our arms for a smooth front glide

Whole class ring-a-ring-a-rosie!

  Working with writing buddies to come up with adjectives for our monsters!

Week 3

While the senior school had their swimming sports, we had some Art fun in the class and painted our book boxes! :)

This also gave us the opportunity to use the chrome books! Room 11 learnt how to log in with their student email and password. We found out how we can go on Study ladder from our class blog.

Mrs Horan invited Room 11 to hear Myths and Legends stories from Room 1 students. What an awesome afternoon, check out the photos below.

Introducing...

Room 11 2016!

We were a complete class on Day 1! Absolutely awesome. We did a few getting to know each other activities, went for a swim, did a little Art and listened to some stories! One of them was "Have you filled a bucket today?" A great book about how we can be kind to each other. :)

This year we are a class of Year 2 and 3 students. It is going to be an awesome year, so bring your smiling faces and positive attitudes. :)
