Rad Rhythm

Today we had our first lesson of Rad Rhythm! It is an interactive lesson about beat, music and drumming. Here we are playing Copy Cats.

The lesson came with a student workbook that had information about music and drumming as well as questions at the end. We worked through the workbook together.

See what your child liked best about the Rad Rhythm lesson! We are hoping to get the equipment in soon so we can complete the rest of the unit. :)

Hello Term 3! I hope you all had an enjoyable break.

Here are a few things to know about the term ahead:

- Cross Country will be held in Week 4

- Homework will be set with a focus on Spelling and Maths. 

Reading is still expected to be done each night. 

- Please remember to name all uniform

We had an awesome first day back sharing the different things we did during the holidays through '4 Facts' (3 true, 1 false) and writing a 'Recipe' for a great holiday with our own ingredients.

I am looking forward to another great term with the Dream Team! :)

Greater than, less than or equal??

Jumpy

Every Monday and Friday we have Buzz Groups where children can bring in something to share with the rest of the class. 

Last month Greta brought in Jumpy the Frog! We were so excited to have Jumpy in the classroom.

Jumpy was our inspiration to do some descriptive writing. 

Here is one of them below.

Jumpy is slimy.

He is fast at hopping.

We can’t even catch him.

He is good at climbing.

He has golden, black eyes.

Jumpy is so adorable.

He sometimes pretends to be a statue.

Jumpy has webbed feet.

Jumpy loves to play.
